The v/h journal / Note
Usable by the person who did not set it up
The person who didn't set it up should be able to use it.
Imagine a device on a shared kitchen counter. One person prefers a different result and changes a setting. The next person presses Start.
They should be able to see what will happen before the device begins.
For v/h, familiar controls have to include understandable settings. A preference saved by one person shouldn't become a surprise for the next.
A useful check during development would be to hand the product to someone who hasn't seen the demo. Explain its purpose, then see whether they can start the core job and recognize the outcome without coaching.

We're treating shared use as a design requirement for our first utility, which is still in development.
